Bio

Hi I am Jacqui (she/they)! I became a doula to support mothers and families during the beautiful journey through birth, the birth of a child and the birth of parents. After experiencing pregnancy and childbirth for myself, I realized there is so much we don’t openly talk about. I want to make sure that other families feel more informed to make the choices they want for their birth stories.

It is my belief that birth is a time to connect to ourselves and our loved ones to bring new life earthside. The memories of a birth experience can last a lifetime and have powerful effects on self-esteem and confidence as you head into parenthood. It is now widely recognized through research that choosing to add a doula to one’s birth team can yield many positive benefits.

The goal of my doula services is to help birthing families feel informed and supported, free and held. It is my goal to help birthing people learn to trust in their beautiful, strong bodies. The moment that a baby is born has the potential to be joyous, magical, wondrous, and it is my wish for birthing people and their partners to experience the birth of their babies as fully as possible.

It would be an honor to have the opportunity to share this time with you. I will work to support you to birth in awareness, where you feel confident, informed, and surrounded with care, love and respect.
