Bio

I am a Perinatal Registered Nurse, Newborn Care Specialist, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I founded San Diego Lactation LLC in 2020 after years of practicing as a Pediatric, Labor and Delivery/Postpartum, and NICU nurse. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Development in 2006 from UC San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 from Samuel Merritt University.

I've been working with mothers and babies in their homes since 2005. Over the years, I've cared for many babies. I specialize in twins and currently serve as a mentor in La Leche League for Multiples. I can assist with latch problems, nipple pain, breast pain, weaning, pumping and more. I have had additional training in tongue tie, bottle refusal, and low milk supply. I'm married and I have three daughters, including one set of twins. I'm very passionate about supporting mothers in their breastfeeding goals and in providing very gentle and understanding care for families at a critical time in their lives. I'm here to support you and your goals, whatever they may be.
